Arthur A. Glassman graduated from Washburn University in 1959. Following graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force. After his military service, Mr. Glassman earned his law degree at the Washburn University School of Law, graduating in 1965 with honors. He began his legal career as partner in another Topeka firm before joining Sloan, Listrom, Eisenbarth, Sloan & Glassman, L.L.C. as a partner in 1967.

Over the past 20 years, Mr. Glassman's primary interest has been in the field of business, corporate law and acquisitions, with special emphasis on banking law and business litigation. His practice is not limited, however, as he has a busy trial practice that has included both criminal and civil law cases.

With professional affiliations including the Topeka Bar Association (of which he is a past President), the Kansas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Glassman is an active member of the legal profession. He served for many years on the Ethics and Grievance Committee of the Topeka Bar Association, and served as its chairman. He has also participated on the Kansas Bar Association Panel that hears cases on ethics and grievances.

Mr. Glassman has also been a member of, and rendered service to, many non-profit organizations. He served as the first Chairman of the Board of the American Cancer Society for the State of Kansas, President of the Shawnee County Unit of the American Cancer Society, President of the Board of Family Service and Guidance Center, and as a member of many community foundations and community service boards of directors.
