Eisenbarth Wins Bar Honor

Louis F. Eisenbarth, retired member of Sloan, Eisenbarth, Glassman, McEntire & Jarboe, L.L.C., was recently honored by the Topeka Bar Association with its Honorable E. Newton Vickers Professionalism Award. The award, given annually to a member of the Topeka Bar Association that, by his or her conduct, honesty, integrity and courtesy, best exemplifies, represents and encourages other lawyers to follow the highest standards of the legal profession. The award was named for distinguished jurist, the Honorable E. Newton Vickers, who passed away after a long career of service to the legal profession in 1999.

Mr. Eisenbarth, a member of Sloan Law Firm from 1954 until his retirement in January of 2006, served as a past president of the Topeka Bar Association, taught at Washburn law School, served as an assistant city attorney for the City of Topeka, was a member of the Washburn Board of Regents, and maintained his private practice with Sloan Law Firm.

Sloan Law Firm has been a member of the legal community in Kansas for decades. The firm, originally founded in 1930, offers services in a variety of areas, including civil litigation, domestic and family law, estate planning, personal injury, real estate, corporate, tax, and business planning.
