pleased to announce that partner Shaye L. Downing has been honored by the Kansas Legal
Services Corporation. She was recently recognized for her exceptional work in providing
pro bono services as part of the corporation's Legal Aid Program. An award was
presented to her at a reception commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Legal Service
Corporation. The event was held at the Brown vs. Board of Education National Historic
Site in Topeka. Ms. Downing practices out of firm's Lawrence, Kansas office and specializes
in areas such as civil litigation, family law and personal injury law. She has been with the
firm since 2003.
